To the Tecnológico de Monterrey Community:

It is a great pleasure to present this document containing the Vision we have for Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2015, as well as the Mission that will guide our activities for the next 10 years. The document also includes the strategies that we will need to follow to fulfill the Mission and achieve the goals proposed by the Vision, as well as the values, attitudes and skills that we expect will compose the profile of the different members of the Tecnológico de Monterrey educational community.

The present text brings together the expectations of Tecnológico de Monterrey's trustees, students and faculty, alumni, and important Mexican leaders who have reflected on what Tecnológico de Monterrey must do during the next decade to respond to the important changes taking place in society and, particularly, to the challenges for development the country is currently facing.

With this new mission, Tecnológico de Monterrey takes a step forward in its commitment to Mexico: to play a more active, dynamic role in generating greater well-being in the country's communities. The new mission commits Tecnológico de Monterrey to evaluating its academic activities in the light of the educational, economic, social and political development it promotes through its alumni and its research and development programs.

This is a truly formidable task, but Tecnológico de Monterrey's valuable human resources will make it possible.
Let us make this new mission the reference point for all of our educational activities.
